Saint Gervais Mont-Blanc - The resort

Nestled at the foot of the emblematic Mont-Blanc, the Upper Savoyard ski resort of Saint Gervais has the undeniable advantage of being a real town from where you can explore everything, from Fayet to Bettex, the snow front, in passing through the authentic Savoyard village of Saint-Nicolas-de-Véroce and of course Saint-Gervais itself with its historic center, with typical thermal architecture.

Whether you choose to walk, explore, slide, hurtle down... the trails, slopes, freeride spots or snowpark, whether you prefer to rise towards Mont Blanc in a picturesque way, in a hot air balloon, in paragliding or with the Mont-Blanc Tramway, the multitude of activities offered in Saint-Gervais allows you to give free rein to all your desires.

Today the Mont-Blanc Tramway is one of the last three cogwheel trains in France. It takes you during the winter to the Prarion/Bellevue ski area (1,800 m). In summer, it takes you to the foot of the Bionnassay Glacier, at Nid d'Aigle, at an altitude of 2,372 meters. From there, experienced and equipped mountaineers will be able to access the Tête Rousse and Goûter refuges, for the ascent of Mont Blanc.

In addition to skiing and mountaineering, Saint-Gervais is also known for its thermal baths. Since 1806, the thermal baths of Saint-Gervais-les-Bains have been renowned for the treatment of dermatological conditions. Treatments based on thermal water from Saint-Gervais-les-Bains provide a softening and healing anti-inflammatory effect. In addition, the thermal baths of Saint-Gervais-les-Bains have the particularity of treating the dual pathology Asthma / Eczema very common in children.
